Explorations of our backyard one step at a time

The positive surprise of the global pandemic that it's made our cities and towns more walkable, less air pollution and less vehicles on the roads.

With more stay home vacations is Summer the opportunities to explore our own communities , parks and super cool neighborhoods have exploded.

This Summer my family and I are exploring our local parks and green spaces. Choosing a new areas to explore each week.

The highlight so far was coming across a rusted shell of a car that's been in this heavily treed area just off Calgary's pathway system by the Bow river. It's been there for so long that's it become part of the habitat for the locals..

To celebrate the summer of exploring we have come out with a new design. This design will have a limited run to Oct 31.
